It’s Halloween time in New York City, which means fun things like zombie crawls and parades. I was bummed I didn’t get to NY Comic Con so I wanted to take some pictures of the NYC Zombie Crawl instead. Still not the same but helps to a nice precursor to the NYC Halloween parade.
Before the zombies came, Kristen and I took a trip to B&H (wanted to see the Nikon D800 and D600) and then took advantage of the awesome Madison Square Park market before it ends this Friday. I wish this was open all year round. I got the meatball hero at Mighty Balls with brown sauce and mozzarella cheese. That’s always awesome to eat! After that, we had some ice cream sandwich since it was warm out. The night before it was 20 degrees colder, and I wish I brought gloves with me to the show.

Kristen and I walked down to Union Square where the zombie crawl was supposed to be at 6:30pm. So we waited awhile for them to show up; leave it to the zombies to be fashionably late. They finally started showing up around 7:15 and were screaming, howling, and clawing at cars at the lights. It was quite comical. At one point, one of the guys climbed on top of the George Washington statue, which is pretty high up. I’m surprised the cops didn’t arrest him. There was families of zombies, Storm Trooper zombies, Waldo zombies, Solider zombies and many more. Then the zombies were taking group photos, and then went onto the next bar or spot where they had to go. That’s all I really wanted to take pictures of and was a nice warm-up to Halloween!
