Flogging Molly continue to be one of the most exciting bands to see live and to photograph live as well. Even though all the kids love to be screamed out these days, Flogging Molly are still one of the most popular bands on the Warped Tour.

Gallows have been talked about amongst concert photographers for awhile now. You need to experience their shows for yourself to truly understand what kind of band Gallows are. They are a UK Hardcore band that just released their 2nd album called Grey Britain. Even if you don’t like hardcore, definitely check them out on the Warped Tour this year!

Anti-Flag are always a fun band to shoot because they give you the opportunity to come away with so many jumpshot photos. I managed to get a few of Chris #2 jumping, some shots are better than others. If you get a chance to shoot Anti-Flag this year on the tour, be sure to do so.

The next band on the main stage at the Warped Tour was The Chiodos. Again, wasn’t a fan. Clearly the kids enjoyed their set a lot and were going crazy for them. I just wanted to take pictures of as many bands as I could so they were simply the next ones on the list.

The first band I shot for the Vans Warped Tour this year was Christian metal band The Devils Wears Prada. I haven’t heard their music before but I don’t think I really heard it at the concert anyway since it’s nothing but screaming. But despite that, they at least make some great faces for photographs. I just wish the band didn’t spit so god damn much. Oops I said god damn…

Things are too quiet around here and I’m sorry about that. I was just at the beach for 4th of July weekend. That was fun despite almost going blind from sand & salt water in my eye. Just haven’t been too many shows lately. Next week I’ll be shooting the Vans Warped Tour (July 15th) and then few days after I’m seeing Carbon Leaf in Poughkeepsie (July 17th). Gotta celebrate my 31st in style and see a great band like Carbon Leaf!
