Happy 03th birthday to me! Last Saturday was my 30th birthday..and I guess my twin brother Matt’s birthday too. I can’t believe I’m 30 already, it’s quite depressing. I was trying to figure out what to do for my birthday this year. I wanted to put on a show but I didn’t have the money for that. I was going to go away to Montreal with Kristen but again, that whole money thing. So I invited some friends over for a night of just hanging out, eating junk food and just having a good time.

Of course, a lot of my friends either couldn’t make it this time around or backed out last minute. It’s my 30th birthday, what is more important than that!? I can’t think of anything! Jerks! Even Matt wasn’t there because he was too busy going to the beach but I still had the party anyway. I wouldn’t even call it a party but it was a good time either way. When people were starting to show up, there was a dumpster fire near my apartment. So that was a bit entertaining to watch because my neighbors are stupid. “Hey let’s put charcoal in the dumpster, nothing will happen.”

Instead of having cake, my girlfriend Kristen and I made something called “Death By Chocolate.” What you do is get a big bowl, put brownies at the bottom of it. You put chocolate syrup on top of that, then you put whatever candy you like on top of that. We put Hershey’s Kisses, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, Kit Kats and Butterfingers chopped into the bowl. THEN you get whipped cream and put that on top of that. Then if you decide to drop dead from a heart attack or not, you can stack that and repeat those steps. Screw birthday cake, I think I’ll have that every year haha. Although, if I keep having that I might not live to see my 40th birthday.

All in all, it was good 30th birthday. Night before I saw The Dark Knight with friends and that was amazing. On my birthday I had my party thing, bought some Vans slip on shoes and just chilled for most of the day with Kristen. Sunday, I went swimming and watched TV. Just the type of weekend I like. I would have gone to a show but there was nothing around.  Oh well. Here’s a bunch of photos from my party:
